MidWest Ability Summit
Date
August 22, 2026
Time
10:00am - 4:00pm
The Midwest Ability Summit is a “one-stop” opportunity for persons with disabilities, their caregivers/families and/or professionals who serve persons with disabilities to gain information about valuable resources and products.
Our purpose is to create a truly metro-wide ability expo for those with disabilities and older adults, their families, caregivers, healthcare professionals and as an educational opportunity for the entire Greater Kansas City community.
At the Midwest Ability Summit, resources will be provided for all of these groups, ranging from educational seminars, to booths for service providers who provide products or services to the disabled community, to booths featuring governmental and not-for-profit agencies. In addition, there will be adaptive sports, exercise and recreational demonstrations.
Minds Matter, LLC will be giving a CEU presentation titled, “Special Considerations When Treating People with Brain Injury.” This event is free to the public and will have CEU opportunities for professionals in attendance. Stop by and say hello to Minds Matter on August 22nd!
Agenda and professional registration can be found HERE.
