Katie Grom is an enthusiastic member of the Minds Matter team, having joined in March 2022. She began her journey with the organization as the Office Manager, where she immersed herself in understanding and embodying the vision and core values of Minds Matter. Subsequently, she embraced the role of Director of Operations with joy. Katie is passionate about connecting with both staff and consumers, aiming to ensure their experiences with Minds Matter are positive. Her commitment to fostering positive interactions aligns with the organization's goals and values.

During her leisure hours, Katie, originally from Lawrence, Kansas, proudly identifies as a devoted Kansas Jayhawks fan with a spirited "ROCK CHALK!" As an avid sports enthusiast, she finds joy in both playing and watching sports, particularly cheering for the Jayhawks and Chiefs (What up, T-Swift?). In addition to her sports passion, Katie values quality time with her family and indulges in reading. She loves uncovering hidden gems across Kansas City and often frequents parks with her two dogs, Jaxie and Puddles, the unofficial office dog of Minds Matter
